Blood shed tears fallen from the leaders of our homeland, They fought for love a revolution full of uncertainty, Their work undone by the ones who cause us pain and misery, You look across the board and their is less hope for our children, How can the color of one man determine his fate, Locked up brothers is their ticket to political office, Ghetto lands is insurance for their safety, You see single parents living on the short end of the living wage. When I say Africa you say STAND UP The times need to changes, we have had enough We dont need them stealing from our future Lord knows they have stolen from our past and They continue to keep a strangle hold on our liberties When I say Africa you say STAND UP
